A little about the store owner.

The store owner comes to Second Life all the way from Indiana. She has a real background in design and art and enjoys just making items. The store owner is Sutha Stoop, yep as a lot of you that know that me. I wanted to make a quick blog about the store to get this idea rolling.

About the store.

OwlToast started awhile ago but had to rebrand itself. The store is located on the Whisper sim and is one of the longest stores besides the owners and a handful of other that have been there since the sim opened. The idea behind the store is to give everyone good quality items at a low price and I strive for that everyday.

Sells?

OwlToast sells clothes for women, and some men. They also offer furniture sets or buy pieces and mix and match the way you want for that unique look. OwlToast also has random odd items like sunglasses, mouthies, necklaces or any kind of random whatnots the owner feels like making. OwlToast also offers Shapes and Skins and can upon request make a custom shape or skin (but warning those cost just a little more)

OwlToast does have a few weekly sales that go on.

Lazy Sunday (Sometimes I don't remember which week I am so if you go to the store there is usually one item that is for sale for 75L just look for the sign)
50L Fashion Weekend- This starts every Friday night till Monday morning. There is one fashion items (Skin, shape or clothing item) for sale for 50L

Hunts, hunts, hunts!
For the current hunt list place go to the wall. This month there are three hunts so far. But as this blog will last longer then the hunts. There is always a new hunt that will start and OwlToast is always looking to be in interesting hunts.

I am proud to say that this hunt is on its way. The FINAL list has been tossed out there. There was a lot of wonderful designers out there that applied for this hunt and I want to thank you. Also if you are not on the list, it was nothing personal, so dont let this discourage you from applying for other hunts.

Everything has been handed out. Store Owners you should have the following items: hunt Poster v1, Hunt Object v1, and the Landmark List.

Hunt Hints as always are DUE by May 8th. This time if i dont have a hunt hint for you I will remove you from the list till i have one. If its past 3 days after the hunt. I will remove you from all FUTURE hunt.

Its only December and I am already sick of this cold weather. I just cant wait for the days I can drive around with the windows down and feel the warm air on my face. Maybe spot a garage sale and get a few deals on some junk i will regret later buying...the joy of warm weather.

Can you believe it....one year of hunts. Yep that is right on Sept 5th marks the very first hunt that was ever put on for hunters group. Man the time has flown by. I have seen stores go from tiny shops to full size sims to others that have sadly left us. There have been way to many sleepless night and stressful days to count and yet call me insane but thru the unorganized mess as i call it there have been some fun hunts and I managed to made some amazing friends. Pride Brighten up the Darkness Starts May 1-30

As Summer gets closer and closer all I can think about is the parades and festival that are going to happen everywhere. I have to say one Parade I love and that Pride. So this hunt in May will be Pride Brighten up the Darkness. This hunt is going to be different I am accepting EVERYONE that wants to join. If you have pride then you can be in the hunt. It doesn't matter if your gay or straight its all about being open minded. If you like to be in this one copy and paste the general application and send back to Sutha Stoop.

Theme for your items Just suggestions, but something rainbow, gay pride, unisex item. These are just ideas as always its up to you and your creative skills. Sky is the limit.

Circus Freaks Starts May 15th-June 15th

That right a 10l gridewide sale will be going on in the middle of Potty Mouth hunt. The stores that have been asked by the hunt organizers will be participating. There is one sign to look for and the item up for sale will be next to it. There is no item to look for as this isnt a hunt but rather a sale of various items.

Why?
It our way of appreciating all the hunters out there who love to hunt. Have put up with some of well me the main organizer chaos and sometimes un-organized skills. And maybe if there good and positive feedback maybe this can be something extra to do in a hunt.. never know. Im just trying to make these hunt a little more fun and little more insane. lol

How it works.
In order to get the items you have to be a member of the group. All items will be set so that the group can only purchase them. If you need an invite just look for the Potty mouth, Cabin Fever or Broken Resolution and touch the board and get the invite. Or just simply ask me if you can not find them.
